Fredo Pies

Bypassed by the new upgraded highway leaves this institution for travellers sadly almost ignored - but not by me !
Their pies are better than ever and management and staff accepted the relegation to a backwater surprisingly well I thought in Queensland Yatala pies were relocated to the new exits when the highway upgrades went through and are bigger and better than even .
I guess Fredrickstown is a few k off the road now and they were not given choices to upgrade locations .
But they are worth the short diversion to their shop and they deserve your support in tough times as they truly offer superior pies and better service than most retail food outlets
The town is small but interesting and a nice break on a long journey
